Sphere is hiring a PAC/Fundraising and Corporate Events Director
Sphere Consulting LLC is seeking an entrepreneurial candidate to manage political and corporate events. Sphere Consulting owns multiple venues throughout Washington, which it uses for a host of events. In the 2016 political season, we raised over $500,000 for House and Senate Candidates. We seek to double that for 2018 as well as use our Hill House and downtown offices for more corporate events.
Candidate must have attention to detail and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
-Plan all aspects of private events and fundraisers for Members of Congress, trade associations, and other political organizations.
-Coordinate with offices of federal PACs, Members of Congress, and candidates to host successful fundraisers.
-Source new opportunities to expand the company’s reach and use of event facilities.
-Execute all aspects of events, from beginning to end.
-Manage internal and external event staff.
-Support the leadership team as needed
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree.
-Superior time management and organization.
-Professional event experience encouraged but not required.
-Excellent writing, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:
-Prior event planning and/or fundraising experience.
