Sphere Consulting has one team and one practice. Spread over three continents, our offices serve as hubs for the regions with the most influence on the world stage. Our belief is that the entire team has to be versed in all aspects of the business, from media relations to government and regulatory affairs.

We created this model for one simple reason: we believe that the current model of large multi-national holding companies with hundreds of public relations, advertising, and media-affairs subsidiaries creates an ineffective platform for delivering highly complex public-policy and reputation-management advice.

If you think about it, how could it be effective?  Too many offices, too many practice groups, and more pressure to perform for the holding company than for the client. Their business model is basic--bring in as many clients as possible and force the work down the chain to generate the most billable hours. This approach might work if a company is launching a new product, but is highly ineffective for more complex matters.
