The U.S. Chamber of Commerce with support from the Carlyle Group, The China-U.S. Exchange Foundation, General Electric and The Starr Companies tapped Sphere Consulting, Covington & Burling and The Rhodium Group to write a comprehensive report on the growing opportunity for Chinese Investment in U.S. Infrastructure. The second roll-out of the report, which was recently translated into Mandarin, is happening today at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China at a Forum on U.S. infrastructure investment opportunities hosted by US Ambassador Max Baucus. The Forum serves as the second in a series of sector-specific investment events to match potential Chinese investors with U.S. businesses and government counterparts. Today, we joined the legal teams from London, Riyadh, and the US in presenting a settlement proposal to creditors stemming from a financial fraud totally over $9 billion.
